15 May 2023, Kakuma, Turkana County, Kenya: 28-year-old Bona Bol from South Sudan is one of the students at a vocational training programme named Bidii, offered by the LWF. The word meaning ’hard working’ in Swahili, Bidii is the name of a vocational training programme of the Lutheran World Federation at the Kakuma refugee camp, whereby refugees learn essential skills needed to earn an income, including tailoring and computer skills, respectively.
