Using her phone, she shows a photo of what the family had put together as a set of 'run bags' in case they would have to flee the country at the onset of the Russian invasion. Owned and run by the Lutheran Education Foundation in Gliwice, the school offers scholarships for refugee children from Ukraine to study at the school. Currently, 12 such scholarships are offered, 10 of which are sponsored directly by the Lutheran World Federation, covering tuition fees as well as daily school lunch free of charge for the children.
