Today, he serves the Lutheran World Federation in initiatives of mass communication on voluntary return to Nigeria. The campaign aims to share information on the process of safe return to the home country, and to encourage refugees not to leave spontaneously, but follow due procedure through UNHCR, in order to ensure a safe return. The Minawao camp for Nigerian refugees, located in the Far North region of Cameroon, hosts some 58,000 refugees from North East Nigeria. The refugees are supported by the Lutheran World Federation, together with a range of partners.
