The mother of two, Natalia arrived in Poland in April 2022 with her son (17) and her daughter (3). Supported by the Lutheran World Federation through its member church the Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession in Poland, the rehabilitation centre of the Foundations for Generations in Bielsko-biała offers physiotherapy sessions free of charge to Ukrainian refugees.

Timor fled Ukraine with his grandmother Nataliia and his sister Lia (8 years old) whom he now lives with in Poland.

The house currently hosts 7 families making up a total of some 20 people, most of them women and children.

The house currently hosts 7 families making up a total of some 20 people, most of them women and children. An English teacher by profession, Iryna lives with her two children, 8-year-old Yaroslav and 13-year-old Yana, and continues to offer English classes online to individual students by online media.

Among other activities – following the arrival of Ukrainian refugees in Poland as Russia invaded Ukraine in early 2022 – the parish offers Polish classes in order to help refugees integrate and find new opportunities in Polish society. The classes are supported by the Lutheran World Federation.
